You can walk up to the castle or even take a shuttle or a horse and buggy ride to reach the breathtaking castle. Ensure to take a guided tour so that you know about its history and significance.

2. Bike or Walk along the Berlin Wall

One of the most important things to do in Germany is to take a walk or bike along the Berlin Wall. Constructed in 1961, the wall separated East Berlin from the rest of the country. It represented disunity, fear, and universal oppression. The graffiti-covered wall, though, has been dilapidated in places, but it still serves as an iconic historical landmark in Germany. Start your journey at the East Side Gallery, the longest remaining section of the Wall. Visit the Berlin Wall Memorial to get the insights of the bygone days. Continue to Checkpoint Charlie, one of the most famous border crossings during the Cold War.
