Get the opportunity to visit the BMW Welt complex in Munich. Continue to enjoy the mountain scenery In Bavaria, visit King Ludwig II's 19th-century Neuschwanstein Castle, nestled high in the Alps. Drive along the Romantic Road with its charming villages, and scenic countryside, and stop in Rothenburg, a walled town that has retained its medieval character. Board your Rhine cruise in Frankfurt and follow the romantic route. See the valleys of the Rhine and Mosel, two rivers loaded with history. We will then continue to Dusseldorf, a city on the banks of the Rhine and in the centre of Germany’s most industrial region, finally arriving in Hannover, where we will cross over to Scandinavia. Continue North to Oslo via Stavanger and Bergen. Marvel at the views of rolling green hills, mountains sprinkled with snow, and magnificent fjords, before you head on to the glorious city of Stockholm. We’ll make our way to Dresden, a beautiful city situated on the River Elbe, where you can marvel at its magnificent palace. From there, we’ll journey to Bavaria, arriving in the vibrant and picturesque city of Bamberg—be sure to see Little Venice! Our next stop is Nuremberg, the second-largest city in Bavaria, known for its deep historical significance. We recommend visiting the site of Hitler’s former Coliseum.

Today's itinerary promises to be full of delightful experiences. Starting from Kelheim, we'll embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Danube Valley, passing through the stunning Danube Gorge. Our first destination is Kloster Weltenburg, a historic Benedictine monastery established in 1040. Following that, we will visit Dachau to explore the poignant Nazi concentration camp museum. After lunch, we'll proceed to Munich, where we'll visit the impressive BMW Welt, a state-of-the-art exhibition center of the prestigious BMW Group. We’ll also explore the park that features the Olympiastadion, an architectural gem from the 1972 Olympic Games. Later, you’ll have free time in Munich’s historic center. You can wander around Marienplatz, the city’s lively main square, visit the charming Viktualienmarkt open-air market, unwind in the Englischer Garten, or enjoy one of the city’s traditional beer houses.

Overnight in Munich
Surrounded by alpine peaks and stunning landscapes, we’ll journey to Füssen and the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle. From there, we'll take a bus to Mary’s Bridge, offering spectacular views of the gorge. You can choose to return either on foot or by horse-drawn carriage (not included). Continuing along the famous Romantic Road, we’ll visit Rothenburg, a charming walled city where we’ll explore the delightful Christmas Museum (admission included). Our day will conclude in Frankfurt, the financial hub of Germany.

Today, we will journey through the enchanting Rhine and Moselle Valleys, regions rich in history and dotted with picturesque villages. Our adventure begins with a scenic cruise along the Rhine, from Rüdesheim to Sankt Goar, often considered the most beautiful stretch of the river. We’ll then continue to the Moselle River, pausing for lunch in Cochem, a charming village on the riverbank, renowned for its imposing castle that has stood for over a thousand years. After lunch, we will make our way to Cologne, where you will have the opportunity to visit its stunning Gothic cathedral. Towering at 154 meters, it held the title of the tallest building in the world until the late 19th century. You can also enjoy a leisurely walk along the Rhine River and explore the vibrant city center before we head to our hotel in Dortmund.

Today, we’ll embark on a magical journey, reminiscing about our favorite childhood stories and movies as we travel through the towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm, now known as the Fairy Tale Route. Our first stop will be Trendelburg, a picturesque walled village where we’ll visit the large medieval castle and the famous Rapunzel Tower (admission included). We’ll continue along scenic roads, crossing forests that will remind us of the tale of Hansel and Gretel. Our next stop will be Höxter, a vibrant town where we’ll enjoy lunch and visit Corvey Abbey, an ancient 9th-century monastery and World Heritage Site (admission included). We’ll then make a brief stop in Polle to photograph the exterior ruins of Cinderella’s Castle. Our journey will continue to Hamelin, renowned for the tale of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”. After following the mouse tracks, we’ll proceed to Hanover, where we’ll have time to explore the city center and take a stroll next to the old town hall.

After breakfast, we will set out for Hamburg, where we will explore its bustling port and the scenic lake it surrounds. Following lunch, we will head to Flensburg, a picturesque seaside village with a charming marina located near the Danish border. From there, we will continue our journey along the Jutland peninsula, arriving in Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city.

The morning after breakfast, we will journey to Hirtshals and board a ferry across the North Sea for a three-hour voyage to Kristiansand. From there, we will travel along Norway’s breathtaking southern coastline, stopping in the quaint town of Flekkefjord. Our next destination will be Stavanger, a picturesque town with a vibrant port by the fjord.

After breakfast, we will depart the city and visit the Swords in Rock monument, a striking tribute to the Viking era. From there, we will continue along Norway’s scenic fjord coast, traveling through tunnels, bridges, and short boat rides. Among these is the world’s deepest undersea tunnel. The two boat trips add a relaxing and breathtaking touch to this leg of the journey. We will arrive in Bergen around lunchtime and take a cable car ride up Mount Fløyen to enjoy stunning views of the town and its fjord. Afterward, you will have free time to explore the "capital of the fjords" at your leisure.

Today, we will be immersed in the awe-inspiring beauty of Norway’s landscapes, featuring fjords, glaciers, lakes, and dense forests. Our journey begins with a visit to Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway, with a stop at the breathtaking Tvindefossen Waterfall along the way. We will then set off on an unforgettable hour-and-a-half cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland, taking in the spectacular scenery as we sail. Our adventure continues through snow-covered terrains and includes a drive through the Aurland Tunnel, the world’s longest road tunnel. We will also stop to see the exterior of Borgund’s 12th-century wooden church, celebrated as the best-preserved medieval church in Norway. Finally, we will arrive in Oslo, where you will have free time to explore the port, stroll down the main streets, and admire the artwork in Frogner Park.

We will start the day with a panoramic tour of Oslo, guided by a local expert. The Norwegian capital seamlessly blends modern architecture with classical buildings, surrounded by beautiful scenery and expansive parks adorned with sculptures. Notably, Oslo has been recognized as the European Green Capital. After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the city at your leisure. Next, we will set off for Sweden, traveling through picturesque landscapes of forests and lakes. Our journey will take us to Örebro, a historic town situated by a scenic lake, featuring a magnificent castle and a quaint old town. Take some time to enjoy a leisurely stroll before we continue our journey, reaching Stockholm in the evening.

After breakfast, Today, we will embark on a panoramic tour of this stunning capital city, spread across 14 interconnected islands. Our journey includes a visit to Gamla Stan, the vibrant old town known as “the city between bridges.” Here, you will find monumental landmarks such as the Nobel Prize Museum, located next to the main square of Stortorget, which celebrates Nobel Prize laureates, as well as the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, we will pause to take in the breathtaking views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore on your own. We recommend visiting the city’s museums and parks, or optionally, the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.

Departing Stockholm, we will travel southward, stopping to explore the lively coastal town of Helsingborg. In the early afternoon, we’ll take a ferry from Sweden to Helsingør in Denmark. Here, you’ll have time to visit Helsingør, famously known as Hamlet’s hometown and home to the striking Kronborg Castle. We’ll then continue our journey to Copenhagen, arriving by evening.

After breakfast, meet your guide and leave for a comprehensive tour of the Danish capital. Copenhagen is known to be the largest Scandinavian city, and the place is just full of all possible contrasts. During the tour, you stop and visit the symbol of Copenhagen - the world-famous Little Mermaid statue, inspired by H. C. Andersen's fairy tale. You then pass the colorful harbor of Nyhavn and the Rosenborg Castle. Then continue onto Christiansborg for a walk around the government. Afterward, drive-by Tivoli Gardens, then spend the rest of the day exploring Copenhagen, your way.

How do I view my invoice?
You will not be able to access your invoice immediately upon booking. You will be notified by email when it is available for you, normally within 48 business hours of booking. You can find your invoice and all other details of the tours you booked by logging on to your account and going to the Tour Booking History page.
How do I make payment online?
Simply login to your Indus Travel account, go to your tour of choice and click on Book Now. You will then confirm the details and your preferences about the tour and finally pay through our secure online payment platform.
What forms of payment does Indus Travel accept?
We accept US & CA Dollar check, bank check, money order, direct deposits, wire transfer, Visa, and Master credit cards. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $30 wire transfer fee. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

When is my final payment due?
Your exact final payment date is indicated on your invoice which may be viewed by signing into your account. In general, final payment is due 75 days prior to departure with some exceptions where payment is due earlier.

Can I send a bank cheque or money order?

Can I get paper documents?
Paper documents may be sent upon passenger request. There is a shipping and handling fee of $30 for each set of paper documents: These paper documents will be delivered between 14-21 business days prior to the beginning of your tour. In some instances, a paper voucher/ticket is required by our vendor. In these instances, the costs for shipping and handling will be shouldered by Indus Travels.

Do I receive anything else with my e-documents?
Indus e-document package includes all local contact details, daily itinerary, airline e-ticket information, service vouchers, and travel tips which should be everything you require to go on your trip.
How do I know where to find my airline ticket?
With a few exceptions, international airline tickets are issued electronically. The airline confirmation number and ticket numbers stated in your documents represent your airline "ticket(s)." Some domestic Arline tickets which can only be issued at destination will be given to you upon your arrival in the local destination.
If I need one, who is responsible to obtain my visa?
You are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documents for the destinations on your itinerary, including having a passport that is valid for at least 6 months before the date of departure and a visa if required. Please check the Visa section in the Know Before You Go document for the countries you will be visiting.
Please note: Passengers who are not U.S. or Canadian citizens must check with the respective consulate or a visa agency to determine what personal identification is required. Passengers who enter, leave and then re-enter the same country on their itinerary should check if they require a double-entry visa.

What are optional sightseeing tours?
Optional tours are offered to travelers interested in additional experiences, sightseeing, meals or activities to supplement the included components of our tours. You may choose to participate in some, all or none of the optional tours which are priced individually. When can I add optional tours?
Optional tours are available for purchase any time up to 45 days before departure.
Can I purchase optional tours locally?
Yes. When traveling on an escorted tour, optional tours may be purchased locally from the Tour Manager. When can I purchase Travel Insurance?
American Residents can purchase Trawick Insurance with us at the time of booking or anytime prior to departure. After booking, Canadian Residents will receive an email with a referral to TuGo Insurance which can be purchased anytime prior to departure.
When is Travel Insurance active?
Travel Protection coverages will take effect on the later of 1) the date the plan payment has been received by the Policyholder; 2) the date and time you start your Covered Trip; or 3) 12:01 A.M. Standard Time on the Scheduled Departure Date of your Covered Trip.
I need to cancel my trip and have not purchased insurance, what do I do?
Penalties for cancellation will depend on the tour you have purchased and how close to departure you are at the time of cancellation. For more information, visit our terms and conditions.
Why is it important that I give my name as it appears on my passport when booking a tour?
Due to increased travel security and policies around the world, it is now a requirement that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Please note that any changes to the details of your air booking, could be subject to a change fee, penalties or cancellation.
Can I reserve a seat assignment?
For our packages that include flights, we do not usually assign seats. In most cases, you can request specific seats, but this may incur a small fee payable to the airline. For more information, contact our sales and reservations staff.
Once confirmed, are airlines seats always guaranteed?
In most cases, seat assignments are firm. However, airlines may sometimes reassign seats for operational reasons. This often happens at the last moment and is controlled by airline staff, with Indus Travel not being notified. Passengers are encouraged to reconfirm their seat assignments and any other special requests directly with their airline prior to departure.
Should I check-in online?
It always recommended and more convenient to check in online. It will shorten your waiting time at the airport, secure your seat assignments and other reservations.
Can I request a special meal on the flight?
Requests may be made for special meals. These requests will be sent on your behalf to the airline so long as Indus receives these request prior to your documents being issued. The availability of special meals will be based upon the specific airlines and will be at their discretion.
Can I use my frequent flier miles?
Accrued frequent flier miles cannot be used toward the purchase of Indus Travels’ airfare or used for class upgrades. However, airfare purchased through Indus Travels may qualify to earn you additional miles.
What is required when I check-in?
Ticketed passengers must show correct identification at check-in. Children must have a parent present at check-in and all tickets must be in each passenger's name.
What is required with International travel?
An international trip may require valid travel documents such as passport, visa, re-entry permit, health certificate, inoculation record, a ticket for the return journey or continuance of your trip, or ANY combination thereof. Passengers are responsible for the proper documentation. Concerns about the required travel documents may be resolved by contacting the appropriate consulate or embassy.
