This fascinating 9-day river cruise will take you to the magnificent towns and famous cities of the Danube River. Your journey will begin in Passau, where you may board the cruise and travel to Durnstein. This is a breathtaking small town along the Danube, recognized as a high-quality winegrowing region in Austria. From there you will cruise along the river and visit Vienna, the extraordinary capital of Austria. This fascinating city offers imperial palaces, impressive cathedrals, famous operas, and more! Choose to discover Schönbrunn Palace, a beautiful city attraction and summer palace. Next, board the cruise and travel to Budapest. Uncover the fascinating contrast of Buda and Pest, two towns physically divided by the river. While these towns were once separated, they officially unified in 1873 forming the extraordinary city of Budapest. After this magical city, you will continue your journey to Bratislava, the breathtaking capital of Slovakia. Choose to visit Michael’s Gate, St. Martin’s Cathedral, or the Primatial Palace. Next, you will travel to Melk, home to the gorgeous Melk Abbey and 11th-century monastery. From there you will cruise to Passau where you will disembark the cruise.
