Contact Center Manager

The Contact Center Manager will oversee a team of agents who are responsible for answering customers’ calls/chats/emails. By directing the agents and giving them tips and advice, the operations manager ensures that qualitative and quantitative objectives, such as customer satisfaction and efficiency, are being achieved. The Contact Center Manager's primary job is to help Indus meet customer acquisition, satisfaction, and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. The contact center Manager will be responsible for training & maximizing customer care & sales team potential, crafting plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Contact Center Manager will also be responsible for contact center operational strategies by evaluating team results and objectives. You need to be well-versed in the travel business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales & customer care team
  • Objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales consultants
  • Produce and maintain material for coaching and training of sales staff
  • Support sales & customer service team to achieve targets
  • Monitor complex leads and group leads and if required help the sales team in closing the sale
  • Ensure the sales team is aware of new products, pricing, promotions
  • Ensure that the sales team follows set procedures and systems for – Phone, Email communication with clients, suppliers, and other staff at Indus Travels
  • Ensure all data is entered as per standards in CRM and all leads are followed up in a timely manner by the sales team
  • Review all open leads on a daily/weekly basis and report to upper management
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Review all client feedback and act on it. Involve upper management if required
  • Approve time off requests by sales staff so min staff number is always maintained
  • Recruits selects hires, and trains new contact center personnel and prepares them to respond to customer questions and complaints.
  • Prepares contact center performance reports by collecting and analyzing call agents’ data.
  • Evaluates individual performance reviews and overall team effectiveness with upper management.
  • Maintains and improves contact center operations by monitoring system performance and identifying and resolving problems.
  • Meets financial targets by estimating performance requirements and preparing annual budgets.
  • Presents monthly and annual contact center action plans and objectives.

Product Manager

Position Summary

The Product Manager's primary job is to help in developing and expanding programs and tour packages for different destinations. The incumbent will assist the Product Director in maintaining the working relationships with tour suppliers, tourism boards, and various marketing channels by formatting and finalizing proposals, attending tourism events and following up on designated email correspondence and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Product Director, the duties and responsibilities of the Product Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Complete ongoing competitive analysis for all products
  • Research, study and compare designated products and rates and communicate the detailed report to the management team
  • Format, expand and complete supplier’s proposal as per the company’s standard to be used in the company’s database and website
  • Assist in creating Power point presentations for tour programs
  • Responsible for updating website content for all travel products (formatting, communicating with the design team, picture collecting and downloading, etc.)
  • Co-ordinate with off-shore design teams for all digital ads and flyers
  • Update itineraries and rates for existing tours
  • Enter and update data as per standards in CRM & website content management system
  • Follow up on negotiation, planning, purchasing, and contracting under Product Director’s supervision and guidance
  • Update Sales and Operations teams on new products, pricing, and promotions using the weekly internal newsletter
  • Coordinate with Sales team regarding client feedback and take action after consulting with Product Director

Minimum Requirements        

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Tourism education or experience would be an asset
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • High-level proficiency in computer applications like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
  • Thorough knowledge of destination travel products, their potential and position in the marketplace
  • Good knowledge of world geography and major touristic attractions is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Superior organization and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong research, analytical and planning skills
  • Knowledge of basic design software is an asset 
  • Travel experience is considered a big asset

Business Development Manager

We are looking for sales driven professionals with an impressive track record of meeting their targets and winning new accounts. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development of new sales channels and to enhance existing channels to build Indus branded business. Prior travel trade experience is a big plus but not mandatory.

The Business Development Manager will work in conjunction with the Managing Director & Director Sales Director of Indus Travels, Canada to establish and deliver a product that meets client needs and expectations. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the assessment and establishment of sales channels, which may include Travel Agents, Group Leaders, Affinity groups, Meeting and Incentive Houses, Online Partners and direct clients.

His / Her responsibility includes all administrative duties including reporting to the Management team on a frequent basis, business development and partner/ channel management, presentations to groups as well as dealing with customer service issues relating to handling issues on bookings from both distributors and end customers (passengers).

Company will provide all the means to achieve/overachieve the targets including company laptop, mobile phone, travel allowance, etc. You can be home based as well!

Job Requirement

  • At least 5 Years of management experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Established networks within the Travel Industry including Affinity Groups, Tour Operators, Wholesalers, Meeting and Incentive houses, Online Partners
  • Sound knowledge of the global travel market a big plus
  • At least 5 years dealing with Canadian outbound travel passengers essential
  • Experience in negotiating business agreements and contracts
  • Product development experience of travel-related products advantageous
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products and internet
  • Account management skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Zoho or SalesForce)

Tour Consultant

The Tour Consultant’s primary job is to help the Company meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by converting email and phone leads to bookings. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all leads are responded to in a timely manner and that the conversion rate/targets set by the Inside Sales Manager are achieved.

City: Richmond Central

Work Experience: 1-3 years

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Tour Consultant include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Help clients select the right tour based on their needs and specific requirements;
  • Answer clients' questions about prices, availability, and tours;
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully converting leads on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis;
  • Respond to all phone and email leads on a daily basis whether with a quote or an email advising that it is being worked on;
  • Review all open leads on a weekly basis and diligently perform follow ups;
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by responding in a timely manner to the clients’ questions and understanding their needs;
  • Contribute to the Sales team targets accomplishing organizational goals;
  • Create FIT quotes for clients, working with suppliers to put together a detailed itinerary, negotiating the price with the supplier and pricing the tour accordingly;
  • Create Group quotes for clients, working with local operators to create a detailed itinerary, negotiating the price with the supplier and pricing the tour accordingly;
  • Maintain awareness of new products and promotions;
  • Follow set procedures and systems for Phone, Email communication with clients, suppliers and other staff at Indus Travels;
  • Ensure all data is entered as per standards in CRM and all leads are followed up in a timely manner;
  • Ensure that files are profitable and when not, discuss with the Inside Sales Manager to determine what can be done to improve the profit margin;
  • Make sure that a FIT or Group quote is competitive and do what is needed to convert the booking;
  • Review all client feedback and act on it, involving the Inside Sales Manager where necessary;
  • Support and mentor your Sales support person to ensure clients are getting all information required to travel; and
  • Co-ordinate with operations and flights department for both Group & FIT bookings.
Group Tours Consultant

The Group Tours Consultant’s primary job is to help the Company meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by converting group leads to bookings. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all group leads are responded to in a timely manner and that the conversion rate/targets set by the Manager are achieved.

City: Remote Worldwide

Work Experience: 3-5 years

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by responding in a timely manner to the clients’ questions and understanding their needs;

  • Create a detailed itinerary, negotiate the price with the supplier, and pricing the tour accordingly;
