There is no better way to explore the wonders of Germany than by train. Beginning in Frankfurt, this seven-day journey will first take you to Cologne. This city on the banks of the Rhine is home of the greatest Gothic cathedral in Germany as well as the country’s best collection of Roman artifacts. Next, on to Hamburg, Germany’s second largest city and its most important port. Hamburg’s Scandinavian feel makes it unique among other German cities and it is also famous for its night life. From Hamburg, we go to the capital city of Berlin, where you will be able to see all its essential sights like the remnants of the Berlin Wall, the powerful Brandenburg Gate and many more. Lastly, make a stop in Dresden, the city which many consider to be the most beautiful in Germany with its stunning Baroque architecture. The tour ends after a final train ride from Dresden to Frankfurt.
