This 9-day tour of the Balkans will take you on an exhilarating journey through four fascinating countries as you discover the most extraordinary places and rich heritage sites in Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, and Macedonia! Your journey will begin in Dubrovnik, one of the most breathtaking vacation destinations in Croatia, known for its magnificent fortified walls and gorgeous seascapes. Visit the Franciscan Monastery along with the Rector’s Palace before you make your way into Montenegro’s charming town of Budva, known for its picturesque Old Town. From there you will cross the border into Albania to explore the capital city of Tirana via Shkodra. Visit the Skender Bey Square and see the Mosque of Et'hem Bay followed by a trip to Ohrid, the capital of North Macedonia, and a fascinating city that is home to the first pan-Slavic University in Europe and the 11th-century Church of St. Sofia. Explore the ins and outs of Ohrid before you travel to Skopje, where you will see the Kale Fortress and the Church of the Holy Savior before you drive to the slopes of Mount Vodno. Your next stop will be in Kolasin, situated by the Tara River and surrounded by the pines of Mount Bjelasica. Visit King Nikola’s Museum in Cetinje before you travel to Kotor, passing by the breathtaking mountain ranges en route to this beautiful city, which is home to the Romanesque Cathedral dedicated to St. Tryphon. Finally, you will make your way back to Dubrovnik, where your tour of the Balkans will come to an end!
