This is the case of sugar cane, which was taken to another level, and today is the base of one of the most exquisite drinks in the world. Venture into a fun world learning about the Caribbean's most famous drink, RUM. We pick you up from your hotel and start our tour walking to the picturesque neighborhood of Getsemani. In the Bar El Arsenal we meet with Abraham Dau, who owns the most complete collection of Colombian rums in the country, and is considered one of the best 5 mixologists in Colombia. On this journey of flavors we will try 8 different Colombian rums, cataloged as the best in the world - some as shots, others we sip, and others in cocktails. The Volcano of Totumo is a real natural spa! Outside of Cartagena on the way to Barranquilla near the fresh water lagoon El Totumo we have the opportunity to hop into the warm mud pool of the cone shaped volcano - a muddy pleasure! Although the crater is 500 meters deep, you won't sink into the thick mud but instead will enjoy the impact of the rich mud on your skin and well-being. Opt for a massage in the mud pool by the local women and a good rinse afterwards (not included)!

The Tesca wetlands are located on the north-eastern limits of Cartagena. They are a mystical looking ecosystem of natural canals and labyrinths. On a canoe trip across the Juan Polo swamp in the northern part of the wetlands we set out to explore the fascinating habitat. At the La Boquilla dock a fresh coconut water will be served before we embark on our tour in a traditional wooden canoe and pass the slender roots of the mangroves that are emerging from the brackish water. El Amor, El Chaco and La Felicidad are the promising names of the naturally formed mangrove tunnels we traverse on our 90-minute tour. Our native guide will introduce you to the area's beauty, fauna and the importance of the Tesca wetlands.

On our tour into the high plains north of Bogota we visit a true masterpiece: the unique salt cathedral of Zipaquirá. The impressive piece of ecclesiastical "architecture" was carved out of a salt mine 120 meters below the ground in the fifties. We round off our visit with a stent to the village of Zipaquirá itself. Located about 50 km north of Bogotá it offers enchanting sights as we walk across its main square.

One thing that makes Rio so beautiful is the lush green everywhere.  The Tijuca Rainforest, plays a large role in keeping the city green and protecting its water sources.  Home to hundreds of species of plants and wildlife, waterfalls, trails, vistas and more, spending a few hours in this jungle refreshes and reinvigorates with ease.  You'll visit waterfalls, the famous Vista Chinesa, take an easy trail, and learn about the history of this immense urban forest (perhaps the largest in the world), which was reclaimed from farm land in the 19th century. ​

Built for the 1950 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, the Estadio Jornalista Mario Filho, better known as the Maracana Stadium, provided the venue for that year’s memorable decider between the host nation and Uruguay. This was one of the most dramatic chapters in the history of the competition! Once the largest stadium in the world, packing in crowds of up to 200,000 people — among the highest attendances ever seen in the history of the game — the Maracana was completely renovated for the 2014 FIFA World Cup which reduced the capacity to 76,935 for Brazil 2014. It remains, nevertheless, the country’s biggest football ground. As Rio’s second most popular tourist attraction, the Maracana continues to attract football fans from all around the world. Visitors will get to go behind the scenes, passing by the Tribune Press, the locker room, the Tribune of Honour, the cabins, and the Museum; with a collection of relics of the stars who made the history of the temple in world football. This tour will be approximately 3.5 hours long and a minimum of 4 passengers will be required. This tour is only available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
