Begin your journey with a panoramic tour of Rome to explore the city’s ancient history and visit the world-renown St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. From there you will travel to Venice and enjoy a beautiful boat ride on the Grand Canal. Pay a visit to the magnificent St. Mark’s Square and Murano Glass Factory. Later, you will explore Verona, the City of Lovers and the home of Romeo and Juliet. You will then make your way to Switzerland to enjoy the beautiful lakes and snowcapped mountains en route to Zurich. Upon arrival, enjoy a cable car ride up the mountain in Grindelwald and bask in the breathtaking scenery. Cross the spectacular suspension bridge and take in the beautiful glaciers all around you. After a delicious breakfast, embark on a panoramic tour of Italy’s capital, Rome—known as the Eternal City and celebrated as one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The tour combines a guided walking experience with a scenic bus ride. During the walking tour, you will marvel at iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum (viewed from the outside) and the magnificent Imperial Forums. After breakfast, you will depart from Rome, heading north. Admire the beautiful landscapes before arriving in Florence. Once in Florence, you will head straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. In the evening, embark on a tour with a local expert, walking through the historic centre and visiting places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an open-air museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore on your own. In the evening you will have time for dinner with multiple options available in the district serving international cuisine.
Overnight in Florence
Today after breakfast, start your day witnessing the stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains as you depart for Venice. Upon arrival take the boat and cross the Giudecca canal to the Island of Venice. Then, with an expert local guide, visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square. Afterward, visit the Murano Glass Factory. It is fascinating to see the technique of how this ancient glass is made. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore.
Overnight in Mestre
After breakfast, we will depart Venice and head to Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you will have time to take a stroll through its historic town center and enjoy lunch. Next, we will continue our journey through the wonderful Tyrolean scenery as we cross into Switzerland. Upon arrival in Zurich, you will have free time to explore the historic city center, which sits right by the lake. There is a wide variety of local and international restaurants where you can have dinner.
Overnight in Zurich
After breakfast, today’s journey features stunning landscapes with tall mountains and pristine lakes. You will enjoy breathtaking scenery in the Interlaken region. The first stop will be Grindelwald, where you will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up the mountain. Once there, you will walk along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge. For those who are adventurous, crossing the bridge offers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. You will have lunch on the mountain (included) before heading back down. The next destination is Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities, where you will have time to explore and enjoy the charming cityscape. You will then return to Zurich.
Overnight in Zurich
Note: The guide will offer an optional full-day excursion, starting in the morning. After some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, the alpine summit offers breathtaking views of the glacier and the surrounding snow-covered peaks.
In the morning after breakfast, you will depart from Zurich and travel to the French region of Alsace, where you will visit its capital, Strasbourg, a charming city that beautifully blends French and German influences. You will have time to explore and get to know the city. Afterward, you will continue your journey to Paris, arriving in the evening.
Overnight in Paris
Today after breakfast, you will immerse yourself in the rich history of France at the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), renowned for its stunning gardens. On your return to Paris, you will visit Montmartre, a charming bohemian neighborhood famous for its artists, painters and cabarets. To fully appreciate the grandeur of Paris, you will embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing the city’s impressive avenues and iconic monuments. Afterward, you will return to the hotel.
Overnight in Paris
After breakfast, you will start your day in central Paris, beginning with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. Then, you will have the chance to go up to the second floor of this famous iron landmark (tickets included). Afterwards, you will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine, which will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. You will have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace (transfer back to the hotel not included).

After breakfast, make your way to the Paris Charles De Gaulle International Airport and get ready for departure.
This 4-star hotel was originally built in the 1980s and has been completely renovated. It features an impressive lobby with a glass ceiling. Rooms here are air conditioned and include satellite TV channels, a minibar and a balcony. Each one has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. An American buffet is served in Le 4 Stagioni restaurant, which later offers traditional Roman and Italian dishes. The nearest bus stop is 200 metres away and you can take 2 short bus rides to reach the historic centre. Vatican City is just 4 km away.
NilHotel Florence is a 10-minute drive from Florence Airport and city centre. A varied American breakfast is served every morning. NilHotel Florence’s spacious rooms are elegantly furnished and feature wood furniture and light colours. Each one comes with a minibar and an LCD TV with Sky channels. Some rooms also have a balcony. Restaurant Davide has a refined atmosphere and serves Italian and international cuisines. Tuscan dishes and wines are also available. Services include a fully equipped fitness centre, a furnished terrace that guarantees total relax, and 2 computers in the lobby with free internet access. English-speaking staff are available 24 hours a day. Swimming pool only on reservation and payment. Set in Florence’s commercial Novoli area, the property is 300 metres from a bus stop linking with the city centre in around 15 minutes. Parking is provided in the garage or outdoors, depending on availability.
Next to the A57 motorway exit, the Novotel is in Mestre, 20 minutes from Venice by bus. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, large car park and children's play areas. Your room here is air conditioned and soundproofed with a modern design. Each one features a comfortable seating area with sofa, a flat-screen TV and minibar. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel, just ask for the password at reception where you will also find 2 computer terminals. Children under 16 stay for free at Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana when sharing a room with their parents. Children's breakfasts are also free and they will find a welcome gift and children's menu at the restaurant. The on-site restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and international cuisine throughout the day. Meals can be enjoyed out on the terrace. Both the restaurant and bar are open until 01:00.
Harry's Home Zürich is located in Wallisellen and features a bar. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. All guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an electric tea pot, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. Harry's Home Zürich offers a continental or buffet breakfast and has a sun terrace.
The spacious rooms are soundproofed and feature a flat-screen TV and free WiFi access. The en suite bathroom includes a bathtub or shower and free toiletries. The hotel reception is open 24-hours a day. The tram that circles Paris is a 10-minute walk away and connects the hotel to La Villette Park in under 5 minutes. How do I create an Indus Account?
Go to our website and click on the register button found on the upper right hand side to create your Indus Travel account and start booking tours!
If I don't remember my password, how do I log in?
Click the Forgot Password? link in the login form and it will lead you to a form to change your password. Simply enter your registered email address and you will be emailed a link to reset your password.
How do I view my invoice?
You will not be able to access your invoice immediately upon booking. You will be notified by email when it is available for you, normally within 48 business hours of booking. You can find your invoice and all other details of the tours you booked by logging on to your account and going to the Tour Booking History page.
How do I make payment online?
Simply login to your Indus Travel account, go to your tour of choice and click on Book Now. You will then confirm the details and your preferences about the tour and finally pay through our secure online payment platform.
What forms of payment does Indus Travel accept?
We accept US & CA Dollar check, bank check, money order, direct deposits, wire transfer, Visa, and Master credit cards. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $30 wire transfer fee. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

When is my final payment due?
Your exact final payment date is indicated on your invoice which may be viewed by signing into your account. In general, final payment is due 75 days prior to departure with some exceptions where payment is due earlier.
How much is my final payment?
The amount of your final payment will be noted on your invoice and can be accessed by logging into your account online.
Can I send a bank cheque or money order?

Once final payment has been received and processed, documents will be sent via email approximately 21 days prior to the beginning of your tour services.
Can I get paper documents?
Paper documents may be sent upon passenger request. There is a shipping and handling fee of $30 for each set of paper documents: These paper documents will be delivered between 14-21 business days prior to the beginning of your tour. In some instances, a paper voucher/ticket is required by our vendor. In these instances, the costs for shipping and handling will be shouldered by Indus Travels.
How do I access and print my documents?
Your documents may be accessed by logging into your Indus Travel account and checking your Tour Booking History.
Do I receive anything else with my e-documents?
Indus e-document package includes all local contact details, daily itinerary, airline e-ticket information, service vouchers, and travel tips which should be everything you require to go on your trip.
How do I know where to find my airline ticket?
With a few exceptions, international airline tickets are issued electronically. The airline confirmation number and ticket numbers stated in your documents represent your airline "ticket(s)." Some domestic Arline tickets which can only be issued at destination will be given to you upon your arrival in the local destination.
If I need one, who is responsible to obtain my visa?
You are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documents for the destinations on your itinerary, including having a passport that is valid for at least 6 months before the date of departure and a visa if required. Please check the Visa section in the Know Before You Go document for the countries you will be visiting.
Please note: Passengers who are not U.S. or Canadian citizens must check with the respective consulate or a visa agency to determine what personal identification is required. Passengers who enter, leave and then re-enter the same country on their itinerary should check if they require a double-entry visa.
How do I know if I need a visa?

How do I obtain a visa?
A visa may be obtained by using a visa service or by contacting the embassy or consulate of the nation you are visiting prior to departing from your home country.

How much does a visa cost?
There will be different costs that will be specific per embassy/consulate and whether you have used a visa service or not. These costs often change with little notice. We recommend that you contact the appropriate embassy or consulate directly for the most up to date information.

What are optional sightseeing tours?
Optional tours are offered to travelers interested in additional experiences, sightseeing, meals or activities to supplement the included components of our tours. You may choose to participate in some, all or none of the optional tours which are priced individually. Complete descriptions and prices for each optional tour are listed on the itinerary section of the tours on our website.
When can I add optional tours?
Optional tours are available for purchase any time up to 45 days before departure.
Can I purchase optional tours locally?
Yes. When traveling on an escorted tour, optional tours may be purchased locally from the Tour Manager. However, Indus cannot guarantee the rate and availability of these services when purchased locally. Please note that tours purchased locally are subject to current exchange rates and may cost up to 10% more.
Can I add optional tours for only select individuals on my reservation?
Yes. For assistance on this matter, please contact Indus Travel sales and reservations staff.

When can I purchase Travel Insurance?
American Residents can purchase Trawick Insurance with us at the time of booking or anytime prior to departure. After booking, Canadian Residents will receive an email with a referral to TuGo Insurance which can be purchased anytime prior to departure.
When is Travel Insurance active?
Travel Protection coverages will take effect on the later of 1) the date the plan payment has been received by the Policyholder; 2) the date and time you start your Covered Trip; or 3) 12:01 A.M. Standard Time on the Scheduled Departure Date of your Covered Trip.
I need to cancel my trip and have not purchased insurance, what do I do?
Penalties for cancellation will depend on the tour you have purchased and how close to departure you are at the time of cancellation. For more information, visit our terms and conditions.
Why is it important that I give my name as it appears on my passport when booking a tour?
Due to increased travel security and policies around the world, it is now a requirement that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Please note that any changes to the details of your air booking, could be subject to a change fee, penalties or cancellation.
Can I reserve a seat assignment?
For our packages that include flights, we do not usually assign seats. In most cases, you can request specific seats, but this may incur a small fee payable to the airline. For more information, contact our sales and reservations staff.
Once confirmed, are airlines seats always guaranteed?
In most cases, seat assignments are firm. However, airlines may sometimes reassign seats for operational reasons. This often happens at the last moment and is controlled by airline staff, with Indus Travel not being notified. Passengers are encouraged to reconfirm their seat assignments and any other special requests directly with their airline prior to departure.
Should I check-in online?
It always recommended and more convenient to check in online. It will shorten your waiting time at the airport, secure your seat assignments and other reservations.
Can I request a special meal on the flight?
Requests may be made for special meals. These requests will be sent on your behalf to the airline so long as Indus receives these request prior to your documents being issued. The availability of special meals will be based upon the specific airlines and will be at their discretion.
Can I use my frequent flier miles?
Accrued frequent flier miles cannot be used toward the purchase of Indus Travels’ airfare or used for class upgrades. However, airfare purchased through Indus Travels may qualify to earn you additional miles.
What is required when I check-in?
Ticketed passengers must show correct identification at check-in. Children must have a parent present at check-in and all tickets must be in each passenger's name.
What is required with International travel?
An international trip may require valid travel documents such as passport, visa, re-entry permit, health certificate, inoculation record, a ticket for the return journey or continuance of your trip, or ANY combination thereof. Passengers are responsible for the proper documentation. Concerns about the required travel documents may be resolved by contacting the appropriate consulate or embassy.
