You will begin your journey in Zagreb, where you can wander through cobblestone streets and see ornate domes and church spires. The café culture here plays a large part in the city’s vibrant street life; live like a local and stop by one of the many cafes. Next you will visit Plitvice and see the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Plitvice Lakes National Park. There are 16 lakes at various levels, all joined by a series of cascading waterfalls. The tour brings you to Dubrovnik, a true glittering jewel in the Adriatic. Here you can marvel at the interplay of light on the old stone buildings or explore the beautiful old town. Continue to Split, which is Croatia’s second largest city and a fantastic place to see Dalmatian life that is a balance of tradition and modernity. Zadar is home to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, and museums. The tour will end back in vibrant and cultural Zagreb.
