DAY 3 - ROUEN (B/L/D)

After breakfast, enjoy morning and afternoon cruising towards Rouen, the capital of the northern French region of Normandy, which is a port city on the river Seine. Important in the Roman era and Middle Ages, it has Gothic churches, such as Saint-Maclou and Saint-Ouen, and a cobblestoned pedestrian center with medieval half-timbered houses. The skyline is dominated by the spires of Cathédrale Notre-Dame, much-painted by Impressionist Claude Monet. The Cruise will sail for Le Havre at 19:00 Hrs.
Dinner and overnight on board

Included: Rouen city tour
Join us on a tour of the birthplace of Gustave Flaubert. Numerous Gothic buildings give the impression of being in an open-air museum. The Norman capital lives from contrasts: old half-timbered houses and churches in the center and on the banks of the Seine high harbor cranes next to banal post-war buildings. Victor Hugo once called Rouen the city of a hundred steeples. Countless buildings were destroyed by bombing during World War II, especially in the area between the cathedral and the Seine. Nevertheless, about 2000 half-timbered houses are still preserved today. You will be amazed by the charm of this city.

DAY 4 - LE HAVRE (B/L/D)

Enjoy your breakfast as you reach Le Havre early in the morning. Le Havre was greatly destroyed in World War II and rebuilt to be an important port city in Normandy. You have an opportunity to explore the Normandy coastline such as the Ètretat’s cliff-top paths for a view of steep rocks with impressive needle-like formations. Nearby, you may visit the city of Honfleur, where the Seine meets the Atlantic. This harbor town is regarded as a jewel on the Côte Fleurie and is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The Cruise will sail for Caudebec en Caux at 19:00 Hrs.
Dinner and overnight on board

Included: Excursion to the picturesque and artist town of Honfleur
At the mouth of the Seine where it meets the English Channel is the “picturesque Honfleur”, which has a long history, but also presents itself as a future-oriented harbor city. Visiting Honfleur means immersing yourself in history and finding yourself again in a unique environment. The historical harbor basin, the picturesque streets and traditional half-timbered houses make this small artist town one of the most charming coastal towns in Normandy. In the heart of the old sailors’ district, you will find a unique building, a real must-see: Sainte Catherine’s Church (15th-16th century) is the largest wooden church in France with a separate bell tower.

Optional: Guided tour of Le Havre with excursion to the seaside resort Étretat: Only Bookable onboard
Étretat is a French seaside resort, which is impressive mainly due to the steep rocky cliffs with their imposing rock formations. The town, which is located on the high Chalk Cliffs, is one of the most beautiful places on the Alabaster Coast. Numerous painters, including Monet, Courbet and Isabey, drew their inspiration from here, putting the countryside around the seaside resort onto canvas. Numerous authors also succumbed to the charm of Étretat. The composer Offenbach was also greatly attracted to the little town, which is why he had a villa built there. During your stay, let yourself be enchanted by this unique flair.

DAY 5 - CAUDEBEC-EN-CAUX - ROUEN (B/L/D)

You will reach Caudebec en Caux before sunrise. Caudebec-en-Caux, nestled along the Seine River in Normandy, charms visitors with its picturesque riverside setting and historic architecture. Explore its quaint streets, admire the Gothic church, and soak in the peaceful ambiance of this delightful French town. In the afternoon Cruising from Caudebec-en-Caux to Rouen offers a picturesque journey along the Seine River, passing through the beautiful Normandy countryside. Today, enjoy a French chanson evening on board. The cruise will sail for Vernon at 23:30 Hrs.
Dinner and overnight on board

Included: Excursion to the monastery road with Jumieges monastery and St. Martin de Boscherville
The French writer Victor Hugo already called the Abbey of Jumièges "the most beautiful ruin in France". The imposing ruins still captivate visitors today and are a testimony to Romanesque architecture. The former Dominican abbey of St. Martin de Boscherville dates from the 12th century. Its late Romanesque church impresses with its simple architecture, while the adjacent chapter house is lavishly decorated with sculptures.

DAY 6 - ROUEN – VERNON - CONFLANS-SAINTE-HONORINE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, enjoy your morning cruising towards Vernon, a commune in the French department of Eure, an administrative region of Normandy, northern France. It lies on the banks of the river Seine, about midway between Paris and Rouen. The town is known for its production of engines by the SNECMA group. In the afternoon the cruise will sail from Vernon to Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. Enjoy dinner.
Overnight on board

Optional: Giverny excursion to the Monet house with its garden and the water lily pond: Only Bookable onboard
Giverny is the inspiration and home of the genius Claude Monet—a world-renowned master impressionist painter. Explore the beautiful grounds and get a look at Monet’s elegant and magnificent residence and take a walk through the water and flower gardens that he captures in his famous masterpieces, take part in a Guided Visit to the amazing Bizy Castle—also named “Normandy’s Versailles” because of its marvelous courtyard, incredible water garden, and stables.

DAY 7 - CONFLANS-SAINTE-HONORINE - PARIS (B/L/D)

After breakfast, the morning is to explore Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. The name of Conflans derives from its position at the confluence of the Seine and Oise rivers. The Latin word ‘confluentes’ means ‘(at the) merging of rivers. The name is like that of Koblenz in Germany, a city situated at the confluence of the Rhein and Mosel rivers. The name of Sainte-Honorine was added circa 1200 and refers to St. Honorina who is the oldest revered virgin martyr of Normandy. Legend has it that her body was thrown into the Seine near Le Havre and drifted to the site of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine. There it was collected and buried by the Christian community. In the afternoon you will return to your cruise as it sails back towards Paris.
Dinner and overnight on board

Optional: Excursion to the James Bond film set “Château de Chantilly”: Only Bookable onboard
France’s splendid Château de Chantilly castle is located 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Paris. Rebuilt after the French Revolution, the palace that stands today dates to the 19th century and is renowned for its opulence. It is also home to the Musée Condé: considered one of the country's most important art collections.

Optional: Visit a Cabaret show in Paris in the evening: Only Bookable onboard
Feast your senses on the vibrant color and charisma of the ‘Féerie’ show at Paris’ iconic Moulin Rouge during an extravagant evening in the City of Light. Picturesque Solo Seine Cruise
I went on this cruise as a solo traveler and I didn’t feel lonely once. The best part of this trip was being around other solo travelers. We were all in this together (literally) and soon bonded over breakfasts on deck. Beautiful french towns, sunny days, and my favorite place of this tour Lyon, I miss all of this. Indus made everything seamless. Logistics, tasty food and comfortable accommodations, everything was taken care of perfectly. By the end of this trip we all became really good friends and are still in touch with eachother. I would suggest every person should travel solo once in their lifetime.
