Optional: Gondola Ride at The Venetian Macao: USD 40, min 1 pax

Gliding down the canals and past renaissance architecture as a gondolier bellows out traditional Italian tunes – no Venice experience would be complete without a gondola ride! Ok, so it may not be Italy, but you can try out this very Italian experience within the Venetian Hotel right here in Macau! The network of San Luca, Marco Polo and Grand Canals circle within the Venetian Hotel, decorated on either side with impressive facades, quaint bridges and even a cloudy blue sky above you. Your gondolier boat driver, complete with stripy shirt and straw hat, will sing classic melodies as he punts along the canal. Get caught up in the romance of your serenaded ride on an authentic gondola boat and take home a souvenir photograph to remember the occasion!

DAY 4 - MACAO (B/L/-)

After breakfast, embark on a captivating day tour through the heart of Macao, where East meets West in a dazzling blend of history, spirituality, and grandeur. Begin at the Ruins of St. Paul’s, the city’s most iconic landmark — a majestic stone façade rising like a theatrical backdrop, etched with intricate carvings that echo both Chinese symbolism and Portuguese artistry. Just steps away, walk along the Old City Wall Ruins, fragments of Macao’s 16th-century fortifications that once shielded this vital trading port. Continue your journey to the elegant Our Lady of the Rosary Church, a serene 16th-century sanctuary adorned with stained glass and a beautiful Baroque altar. Wander through the charming Senado Square, where wave-patterned cobblestones guide your steps past neoclassical buildings, wrought-iron balconies, and colorful facades — an unmistakable echo of Southern Europe, nestled in Asia. Pause for a buffet lunch at the Metropark Hotel, a relaxing interlude to refuel with local and international flavors. In the afternoon, pay your respects at A-Ma Temple, Macao’s oldest and most sacred temple dedicated to the sea goddess Mazu — its incense-swirled pavilions perched above a granite outcrop overlooking the sea, steeped in Taoist tradition. Then head to the Macau Tower for a photo stop, where panoramic views and adrenaline-filled activities await (tower admission not included). Before your final stop, drop by a traditional bakery to pick up some fresh almond cookies — warm, crumbly, and packed with the essence of Macao. Conclude your tour at the lavish Venetian Macao (or, time permitting, the Sands or Galaxy resort), where marble columns, painted ceilings, and meandering canals bring Venetian romance to life in the heart of Asia. Return by 4:00 PM with a deeper appreciation of Macao’s rich contrasts — a city where time-honored temples and colonial legacies gracefully coexist with glamorous resorts and cosmopolitan style.
