On this 12-day trip to South, India journey begins in Mamallapuram, known for its great monuments & cave sanctuaries from here you will travel to the city of Pondicherry, a former French colony, having existed as a British colonial architecture with the profusion of Catholic churches. The next stop is Tanjore covering its stunning temples like Brihadeshwara Temple. Moving forward embark on a temple tour of Madurai including the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple. Leaving the plains behind, the tour then heads into the mountains to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Periyar. After exploring this jungle area, you will travel down through plantations of tea and spices to Kumarakom. In the end, we visit picturesque Cochin, one of the finest natural harbors of the world before traveling back home.
