Finca San Juan de la Isla (Ometepe Island)
Our Rating :
Local Rating :
Accommmodation Type : Standard

Experience the most unique lake island in the world from an unrivaled vantage-point: San Juan de la Isla - Nicaragua’s most comfortable and authentic island lodge - located lake-front on Santo Domingo Beach. San Juan de la Isla enjoys stunning views of Ometepe's towering volcanoes, the rugged, active Concepción and the misty, cloud forest wrapped, Maderas. The lodge’s beach-front location is the ideal base for swimming in Nicaragua’s lake, clean, warm waters, hiking inside nature reserves, mountain biking, horseback riding and volcano climbing. The best of all is the laid-back, authentic rural style of San Juan de la Isla, which is set inside the Finca San Juan, a tropical fruit tree plantation surrounded by precious wood trees and rare wildlife. The understated, century-old Spanish colonial hacienda house has been faithfully restored and serves visitors as the lodge’s restaurant. Lodging is exclusive, limited to four colonial rooms near the Casa Hacienda, four rooms with a shared porch in front of a beautiful water pond, where you can see different kinds of birds and other animals, three independent cabins near the restaurant and Casa Hacienda. And the best ones, eight front-lake bungalows.

Hotel Patio del Malinche (Granada)
Our Rating :
Local Rating :
Accommmodation Type : Standard

El Patio del Malinche is more than just another hotel, it`s a dream come true. Our interest to live in a different culture and to get to know new horizons took us to the ancient town of Granada. The sun-dried bricks of Granada’s old walls and the hospitality of its people bewitched us. By restoring an old colonial house we have recreated an ambiance of peace and serenity throughout its inner patios full of history. We hope our guests will be able to relive and share with us the atmosphere of other times.
