This incredible journey takes you to the highlights of the most iconic and important sights in Europe. Your journey begins in the capital of Spain, Madrid, where you will enjoy a comprehensive tour through the center, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. On the way to Barcelona, you will go on a guided tour to the Monastery of Poblet, located in northeastern Spain, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world. In Barcelona, tour the city and discover the iconic Ras Ramblas Street. Your tour continues with driving in the region of Provence to arrive in the charming town of Chamberry. Continue to Switzerland and enjoy beautiful lakes and mountains with snowcapped peaks on your way to Zurich. Your journey continues in Rome, the ancient Capital of Italy, and get to know about its history on a panoramic tour and in the Trastevere area. You will also visit St. Peter’s Basilica in the heart of Vatican City and the impressive Roman Coliseum. Moving to Venice, you will take the boat, cross the Grand Canal to the Island of Venice, and visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square and the Murano Glass Factory. Then travel along a very scenic road between the mountains on your way to Kitzbuhel in Austria and take a cable car ride up to the high mountains that surround the city with fantastic scenery. Later, you will explore the beautiful Traunsee Lake in Traunkirchen and see four castles. The next stop is Vienna, with its majestic avenues, palaces, and vibrant city center. Here, you will visit the Schonbrunn Palace and enjoy its beautiful gardens. Next, you will continue to Hungary and discover its spectacular capital, Budapest on a Scenic city tour followed by a boat tour along the river Danube. On arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check in. You can enjoy your free time until your tour starts. Please check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area, which have all the information about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de España, and Gran Via, a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern are some of the options available.
Overnight in Madrid
The day starts at about 08.30 with a comprehensive tour through the center of Madrid, including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. You will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city center, where you will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring is included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world, where you will learn about the tradition of “corri¬das” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset, you are provided a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving various exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, international) that you can enjoy as a pleasant dinner. (Not included) Return to the hotel will be provided.
Overnight in Madrid
In the morning, we will depart for Aragon, passing through the picturesque landscapes of Castile. Our first stop will be Zaragoza, where we’ll marvel at the breathtaking Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Next, we’ll visit the tranquil Poblet Abbey, renowned as one of the world’s best-preserved medieval monasteries (admission included). Finally, we’ll continue to Barcelona, arriving by evening.

In the morning, we’ll set off to explore the City of Counts, a lively metropolis along the Mediterranean coast celebrated for Gaudí’s modernist masterpieces, the vibrant Ramblas, and its storied past, marked by the Universal Exposition and the Olympics. Barcelona is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most captivating and picturesque capitals. In the evening, we’ll depart Barcelona and head north into Catalonia. Before checking into our hotel, we’ll take a stroll through Girona’s historic center, renowned for its charming colorful houses, the ancient Jewish quarter, and its magnificent cathedral.
Overnight in Girona
We’ll journey to France, traveling through the scenic Provence region. Our first stop will be Arles, a charming UNESCO World Heritage city renowned for its ties to Van Gogh. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to visit the Roman theater and picturesque Romanesque churches, with time to explore and enjoy lunch. Following this, we’ll visit Carrières des Lumières, an extraordinary underground art exhibit featuring a mesmerizing fusion of art, imagery, and sound within an ancient quarry. By evening, we’ll arrive in Chambéry, the enchanting capital of Savoy, a medieval city with a delightful historic center and an impressive castle.
Note: If tickets for the Carrières des Lumières show are unavailable due to high demand, we will arrange an alternative visit to the Pont du Gard, a renowned Roman aqueduct.
Overnight in Chambery
Today we travel to Switzerland. Geneva, arrival. With our guide, we will go to the Palace of Nations (the headquarters of the United Nations in Europe) to the pretty English Garden with its clock made of flowers and we can admire the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. We go on to the picturesque walled village of Gruyere, known worldwide for its cheese. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Nearby are several of the main chocolate factories in Switzerland (Nestle amongst them), and we visit the Cailler chocolate factory, with a tasting included. After this, we go on to Chillon Castle, built in the waters of the lake. Entrance included to this fantastic medieval castle. We will continue traveling through smaller roads amidst bucolic mountain landscapes and very picturesque wooden villages. - Arrival in Leysin, a beautiful little holiday village with spectacular views of the Rhône plain and Mont Blanc, known for its winter sports resort or its hiking possibilities. Enjoy your dinner.

After enjoying breakfast, prepare for a day of spectacular mountain scenery—don’t forget your winter clothing! We’ll ascend to Glacier 3000 via cable car, one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking attractions, offering year-round ice and snow. Here, you can stroll across the suspended bridge linking two mountain peaks, marvel at the magical Ice Cathedral, or have fun at the Snow Fun Park. Our journey continues with a stop in Interlaken for lunch, followed by a visit to Lucerne, celebrated as one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities. By evening, we’ll arrive in Zurich, where you’ll have time to explore the city center before heading to the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel depart early from Zurich, crossing the majestic Alps to the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first destination is Bellinzona, famed for its three medieval castles, designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses showcase Bellinzona’s historical importance as a key alpine stronghold. Enjoy free time to explore the charming streets of the city center. We’ll then cross into Italy, stopping in the picturesque town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como boasts stunning lakeside gardens and an awe-inspiring cathedral. Our journey continues to Milan, where our guide will introduce you to the magnificent Piazza del Duomo. Afterward, you’ll have some leisure time to explore before we transfer you to the hotel.
Overnight in Milan
Today after breakfast, continue your journey towards Pisa. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the day. The Eternal City is one of the greatest highlights of many tours of Italy.
Overnight in Rome
After breakfast, In the morning, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Italy’s capital, the Eternal City, celebrated as one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The tour will combine a walking exploration with a scenic bus ride. On the walking tour, we’ll admire iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum (viewed from the outside), and the grand Imperial Forums. Following this, we’ll continue by bus through this open-air museum of a city, passing magnificent basilicas and churches, Tiber Island, Lungotevere Avenue, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City, an independent state within Rome and the heart of the Catholic Church. The afternoon will be free, and we recommend visiting St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums. In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere, an enchanting district perfect for a stroll through its narrow, cobblestone streets. This charming neighborhood is filled with hidden treasures, from quaint medieval churches and unique shops to scenes of local life. Trastevere is also home to numerous trattorias and osterias offering authentic Italian cuisine, alongside a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and international dishes. At the end of the evening, we’ll return to the hotel.
Overnight in Rome
Today, we will leave Rome, heading north. This route has beautiful landscapes. Arriving in Florence, we head straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo. In the evening we take a tour with a local expert, walking through the historic center and taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Plaza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Enjoy some leisure time to explore. In the evening you will have time for dinner, as, in this district, you can find many restaurants serving international cuisine.
Overnight in Florence
Today we enjoyed stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. We will arrive in Venice, take the boat, and cross the Giudecca to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we will visit the marvelous St. Mark´s Square and enter the Basilica (entrance included). Afterward, we will visit the Murano Glass Factory. It is fascinating to see the technique of how this ancient glass is made. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore. Accommodation in the Mestre district.
Overnight in Venice
After breakfast, we will leave Venice and set out for Austria! Our first stop will be Innsbruck, where you’ll have time to explore the historic city center and enjoy lunch in the heart of the Austrian Tyrol. Following this, we’ll travel along stunning mountain roads to Kitzbühel, a charming village renowned as a premier ski resort, where snow is present for much of the year. After some free time to take in the picturesque surroundings, we’ll continue to Salzburg, arriving by evening.

In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll dive deeper into Austria’s charm. In the morning, we’ll explore Salzburg, the city of Mozart, renowned for its stunning Renaissance and Baroque architecture set against the backdrop of its majestic castle. Next, we’ll journey through picturesque lakes and mountains to St. Wolfgang, a famed pilgrimage destination in Austria. From there, we’ll continue to Traunkirchen, nestled on the shores of the scenic Traunsee Lake, where we’ll enjoy an included cruise showcasing four of the lake’s enchanting castles before arriving in Gmunden. Our day concludes with a journey to Vienna, where we’ll arrive in the evening.

Today after breakfast, visit this impressive city with a local expert. Here we experience its majestic avenues, its palaces, and the vibrant city center. Then we head directly to Schönbrunn Palace, where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon of leisure in the city center. In the evening we include a transfer to the neighborhood of Grinzing, an old wine-growing village annexed to the city and known for its traditional taverns. Free time to dine in one of its typical restaurants.
Overnight in Vienna
After breakfast, we have an approximately three-hour journey to Budapest, Hungary. Arriving at around 11:30, we will discover Budapest (known as the “Queen of the Danube”) on a boat tour along the river. Budapest is divided by the Danube River, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopolitan Pest on the opposite side. Time for lunch, followed by a scenic tour of the city. After the tour enjoy some leisure time. At the end of the day, we finish in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of opportunities to have your dinner.
Overnight in Budapest
After breakfast, we will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube. With an attractive historic center, take time to see the city and enjoy lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the Czech Republic, Prague. Arriving in the evening, we will make our way to the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and touristic activities. You can have your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll explore Prague, the enchanting Baroque gem of Europe. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour showcasing the city’s most iconic landmarks. The tour includes a visit to Prague Castle (admission included), offering a glimpse of its rich history. Following this, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vltava River (included). The afternoon will be yours to discover the city at your own pace.

How do I create an Indus Account?
Go to our website and click on the register button found on the upper right hand side to create your Indus Travel account and start booking tours!
If I don't remember my password, how do I log in?
Click the Forgot Password? link in the login form and it will lead you to a form to change your password. Simply enter your registered email address and you will be emailed a link to reset your password.
How do I view my invoice?
You will not be able to access your invoice immediately upon booking. You will be notified by email when it is available for you, normally within 48 business hours of booking. You can find your invoice and all other details of the tours you booked by logging on to your account and going to the Tour Booking History page.
How do I make payment online?
Simply login to your Indus Travel account, go to your tour of choice and click on Book Now. You will then confirm the details and your preferences about the tour and finally pay through our secure online payment platform.
What forms of payment does Indus Travel accept?
We accept US & CA Dollar check, bank check, money order, direct deposits, wire transfer, Visa, and Master credit cards. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $30 wire transfer fee. There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

When is my final payment due?
Your exact final payment date is indicated on your invoice which may be viewed by signing into your account. In general, final payment is due 75 days prior to departure with some exceptions where payment is due earlier.
How much is my final payment?
The amount of your final payment will be noted on your invoice and can be accessed by logging into your account online.

Can I get paper documents?
Paper documents may be sent upon passenger request. There is a shipping and handling fee of $30 for each set of paper documents: These paper documents will be delivered between 14-21 business days prior to the beginning of your tour. In some instances, a paper voucher/ticket is required by our vendor. In these instances, the costs for shipping and handling will be shouldered by Indus Travels.
How do I access and print my documents?
Your documents may be accessed by logging into your Indus Travel account and checking your Tour Booking History.
Do I receive anything else with my e-documents?
Indus e-document package includes all local contact details, daily itinerary, airline e-ticket information, service vouchers, and travel tips which should be everything you require to go on your trip.
How do I know where to find my airline ticket?
With a few exceptions, international airline tickets are issued electronically. The airline confirmation number and ticket numbers stated in your documents represent your airline "ticket(s)." Some domestic Arline tickets which can only be issued at destination will be given to you upon your arrival in the local destination.
If I need one, who is responsible to obtain my visa?
You are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documents for the destinations on your itinerary, including having a passport that is valid for at least 6 months before the date of departure and a visa if required. Please check the Visa section in the Know Before You Go document for the countries you will be visiting.
Please note: Passengers who are not U.S. or Canadian citizens must check with the respective consulate or a visa agency to determine what personal identification is required. Passengers who enter, leave and then re-enter the same country on their itinerary should check if they require a double-entry visa.

There will be different costs that will be specific per embassy/consulate and whether you have used a visa service or not. These costs often change with little notice. We recommend that you contact the appropriate embassy or consulate directly for the most up to date information.

What are optional sightseeing tours?
Optional tours are offered to travelers interested in additional experiences, sightseeing, meals or activities to supplement the included components of our tours. You may choose to participate in some, all or none of the optional tours which are priced individually. Complete descriptions and prices for each optional tour are listed on the itinerary section of the tours on our website.
When can I add optional tours?
Optional tours are available for purchase any time up to 45 days before departure.
Can I purchase optional tours locally?
Yes. When traveling on an escorted tour, optional tours may be purchased locally from the Tour Manager. However, Indus cannot guarantee the rate and availability of these services when purchased locally. Please note that tours purchased locally are subject to current exchange rates and may cost up to 10% more.
Can I add optional tours for only select individuals on my reservation?

When can I purchase Travel Insurance?
American Residents can purchase Trawick Insurance with us at the time of booking or anytime prior to departure. After booking, Canadian Residents will receive an email with a referral to TuGo Insurance which can be purchased anytime prior to departure.
When is Travel Insurance active?
Travel Protection coverages will take effect on the later of 1) the date the plan payment has been received by the Policyholder; 2) the date and time you start your Covered Trip; or 3) 12:01 A.M. Standard Time on the Scheduled Departure Date of your Covered Trip.
I need to cancel my trip and have not purchased insurance, what do I do?
Penalties for cancellation will depend on the tour you have purchased and how close to departure you are at the time of cancellation. For more information, visit our terms and conditions.
Why is it important that I give my name as it appears on my passport when booking a tour?
Due to increased travel security and policies around the world, it is now a requirement that your airline ticket matches your first and last name exactly as it reads on your passport. Please note that any changes to the details of your air booking, could be subject to a change fee, penalties or cancellation.
Can I reserve a seat assignment?
For our packages that include flights, we do not usually assign seats. In most cases, you can request specific seats, but this may incur a small fee payable to the airline. For more information, contact our sales and reservations staff.
Once confirmed, are airlines seats always guaranteed?
In most cases, seat assignments are firm. However, airlines may sometimes reassign seats for operational reasons. This often happens at the last moment and is controlled by airline staff, with Indus Travel not being notified. Passengers are encouraged to reconfirm their seat assignments and any other special requests directly with their airline prior to departure.
Should I check-in online?
It always recommended and more convenient to check in online. It will shorten your waiting time at the airport, secure your seat assignments and other reservations.
Can I request a special meal on the flight?
Requests may be made for special meals. These requests will be sent on your behalf to the airline so long as Indus receives these request prior to your documents being issued. The availability of special meals will be based upon the specific airlines and will be at their discretion.
Can I use my frequent flier miles?
Accrued frequent flier miles cannot be used toward the purchase of Indus Travels’ airfare or used for class upgrades. However, airfare purchased through Indus Travels may qualify to earn you additional miles.
What is required when I check-in?
Ticketed passengers must show correct identification at check-in. Children must have a parent present at check-in and all tickets must be in each passenger's name.
What is required with International travel?
An international trip may require valid travel documents such as passport, visa, re-entry permit, health certificate, inoculation record, a ticket for the return journey or continuance of your trip, or ANY combination thereof. Passengers are responsible for the proper documentation. Concerns about the required travel documents may be resolved by contacting the appropriate consulate or embassy.
