This 08-day tour begins in Sri Lanka’s city of Negombo, the cinnamon hub of the past before heading to Dambulla, best known for its famed 2000-year-old rock cave temple known as ‘Dambulla Cave Temple’. While in Dambulla, you’ll get an opportunity to visit the incredible UNESCO World Heritage site of Sigiriya rock fortress and the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital and crown jewel of King Parakramabahu I. Then continue to the second major city in Sri Lanka, Kandy via Matale where you will visit an aromatic spice garden and learn about the therapeutic values of spices and process over a refreshing cup of herbal tea! Lastly head south-west to the coast of Sri Lanka, Wadduwa, home to thousands of palm trees, golden beaches, and crystal-clear oceans before returning home.
