On this 7-day tour experience nature through many of the exotic landscapes that are unique to Iceland. First, you will explore the city of Reykjavik. You will discover why this town is also called Smokey Bay and while you are there, you may experience the natural hot springs. Next day you will head to the south shore to visit volcanoes. You will be able to see 2 of the most famous volcanoes, the Hekla and the Eyjafjallajokull. At the LAVA centre in the town of Hvollsvollur you will learn about the role of these natural wonders in shaping the place. You may also take a 30-minute ferry ride to Westman islands to further appreciate the natural wonders of Iceland. Next, will be the area of Katla, a UNESCO world heritage site with unique and exotic volcanoes and glacial features. Then continue to Vatnajokull national park. This humongous national park is home to the largest lava flow on earth and giant glaciers and volcanoes. Last, you will visit the Golden circle, perhaps one of Iceland’s most famous areas. Here, observe the natural Geysers that are the result of brutal interaction of natural spring water and the heat of volcanoes. Finally, at the town of Gullfoss you will be awed in front of most majestic of waterfalls before heading back to Reykjavik.
