You will arrive in the cosmopolitan capital city of Lima and discover its colonial treasures and various neighbourhoods. Then proceed to the Inca Capital Cusco, the city which will welcome you in all its magnificence, explore the archaeological sites of the region. Next, you will Visit Tambomachay, a peaceful Inca site consisting of a series of delicately carved aqueducts, canals, and waterfalls that run through the terraced rocks. You will also see the imposing ruins and sublime beauty of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, enjoying the day hike through Moray terraces, Maras salt pans & Pichingoto town. After driving into the Andes, we will start our trek near Pumamarca archaeological complex walking to Choquicancha agricultural terraces and enjoying a spectacular view of the landscapes. Finally, you will take the train to Chachabamba and start the famous Inca trail hike. In the afternoon you will reach the Intipunku (Puerta del Sol or The Sun Gate), the gateway to Machu Picchu which offers a great view of the citadel. After the visit of the lost city, you will then descend to Aguas Calientes. Last, take the train back Cusco and start a half-day walking city tour, where you will see the interesting blend of the Incan and Spanish cultures. The outing begins at the Koricancha Temple, before continuing to the Main Square where you will visit the Cathedral.
