Before revealing what is there in store for this adventurous culinary tour, we would like to introduce Chef Vikram Vij, who will be there to make sure that your taste buds remain extremely satisfied through this culinary journey.
Vikram’s first venture came with his restaurant Vij in Vancouver, and now the restaurant has become the highlight, especially when it comes to Indian cuisine. He added another feather to his cap in 2003 when the New York Times food writer Mark Bittman said that it was “easily among the finest Indian restaurants in the world.” The restaurant has also won the People’s Choice award in 2013 with Vij’s Railway Express.
In April 2015, Vikram was named Chef of the Year in Vancouver Magazine’s prestigious Restaurant Awards. In 2018 Vikram released his autobiography, entitled Vij: A Chef’s One-Way Ticket to Canada with Indian Spices in His Suitcase.
